The Alpe di Siusi is distant from Trafunshof approximately 15 km. You can reach the Alpe di Siusi landscape by car in 20 minutes. But remember: the road to the landscape conservation area Alpe di Siusi is closed to private traffic from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm. More comfortable you can reach it by the cable car, that drives all the time. Until the valley station, that brings you directly to the slopes, you need only 3 minutes with your own car (plenty of free parking places) and furthermore 12 minutes with the cable car. By purchasing a Combicard, Nordic Walking or Skipass all the busses travelling in the Schlern region are included and you can enjoy your holidays without car. We are distant from the bus station only 3 walking minutes.

Horse-drawn sleighs - romantic rides

Romantic rides in a horse-drawn sleigh to a cosy chalet or to a special viewpoint are simply unforgettable. You will be covered in a warm blanket and you can hear only the bells of the harness. The good old days! Gladly we will give you a ride with our own horse-drawn carriage around our barn.

Winter fans will love a horse-drawn sleigh ride, with the rhythm of the hooves and bells tingling on the Haflinger’s bridle to accompany you on your way over the deep snows of the Alpe di Siusi/Seiser Alm in the Dolomites.

In winter, the Laghetto di Fiè transforms into an outdoor ice rink. Backed by the imposing backdrop of the Sciliar/Schlern, winter fans glide over the ice and enjoy the utter peace in the heart of the nature reserve of the Sciliar-Rosengarten/Schlern-Rosengarten.

Close to the villages, the Castelrotto/Kastelruth and Tires al Catinaccio/Tiers am Rosengarten ice rinks are easily accessible and a popular destination for skaters. The mountain cabins by the Laghetto di Fiè and the ice rinks invite you in for a break and a bite to eat, and also provide you with the necessary equipment: skates can be rented right beside the lake or rinks.

All the tracks are double or quadruple and perfectly groomed. Whether you opt for skating or classic style, beginner or pro: The Alpe di Siusi has the right trail for every taste.

The Alpe di Siusi in the Dolomites is high up on the list for pros: the Norwegian national cross-country team have been coming to the Alpe di Siusi to train for years, and the trails here are also great favourites with the Italian, Swedish and American teams.

At 1.5 km long and offering around 70 obstacles, the Alpe di Siusi Snow Park is one of the longest terrain parks in Europe. With rails, kickers, boxes and whoops the snow park offers everything that a freestyler could ever wish for, from easy through medium right up to pro level. In the upper level of the park, beginner and medium level boarders will find plenty of scope for action, while the pro-line on the lower level with its demanding obstacles will have advanced boarders in their element. There are also three big kickers here for advanced freeskiers and boarders. One particularly unusual attraction of the Alpe di Siusi Snow Park in the Dolomites is the wood line, where all obstacles are made of wood.

Four shapers groom the Alpe di Siusi Snow Park to perfection every single day, giving it its reputation as one of the safest terrain parks in the Alps. The Panettone Bros Club cater to the entertainment side of the park with contests, events and parties themed around the park scene.

You can reach the 3,300 metres of the Marmolada, you can cross the Tognola gate and whizz by the Pale di San Martino, cross Ladin valleys and gaze at the 3 Cime di Lavaredo which welcome you with a gracious nod.
